Friday night at the opening round of the King Of Indiana Sprint Car Series Kyle Robbins turned a 22nd place starting spot into a 14th place effort to kick off the weekend. Tonights race was a "USAC Caiber" Event as all of Indiana's best where in the house to kick off the series. "I would of liked to of got out of here tonight with a top 10 but we were able to get around some good cars there." Racing against the best is only going to make our team better even if we need to take our lumps as we learn.
On Saturday night the team turned there rig towards the south and made the trek to North Vernon's Twin City Speedway where last week Kyle picked up his best finish of the season. Starting 11th Kyle proved last week was no fluke as he piloted the 17R to another top 10, crossing the line 7th at the checkers. "We are really gaining on our slick track set-ups and I am rally happy with a top 10 run here tonight. Our goals right now are modest consistent top 10's and then we will work on top 5's.
Kyles next event will be at Gas City next Friday night.
